Characteristics: Pine Bluegrass, also known as Big Bluegrass or Sandberg Bluegrass, is a medium height drought tolerant perennial bunchgrass. Plants grow to a height of three to four feet when in flower. Stems and leaf blades are typically bluish green in color.
Cultivation: Grow Pine Bluegrass in full sun or part shade. This species is quite drought tolerant once established. Will tolerate a wide variety of soils.
