Characteristics: Western Giant Hyssop is a perennial member of the mint family with spikes of lavender colored flowers. Plants grow to a height of 3 feet and bloom in late spring or early summer.
Cultivation: This species does best in full sun or part shade and prefers well drained soil. Like other Agastache species this mint species does not spread and is quite well "behaved" in the garden.
Native Range: East slopes of the Cascade Mountains in Oregon and Washington
