Characteristics: The Rocky Mountain Columbine features gorgeous large blue and white, cream and white or white flowers. The petals possess long nectar filled spurs. The flowers are attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds.
Cultivation: Columbines will grow in full sun to part shade or dappled sunlight. The species tolerates a wide range of soil types except for very heavy poorly drained soils.
Native Range: Rocky Mountain States from Idaho and Montana south to Arizona and New Mexico
