Characteristics: Heartleaf Arnica is a perennial member of the sunflower family with brilliant yellow daisy-like flowers. It is named for it's heartshaped basal leaves. This lovely member of the daisy family is common in our area, sometimes producing a carpet of yellow blooms. Plants are rhizomatous though slow growing and may form clumps several feet in diameter in time.
Cultivation: This species prefers part shade and moderate moisture.
