Characteristics: Also known as the Wyeth Buckwheat. This mat forming species produces white to pinkish flowers in umbels in early to mid summer. Flowers darken as they age. While foliage on plants remains low, flower stems may reach 12 to 18 inches.
Cultivation: Parsnipflower Buckwheat prefers full sun, low to moderate moisture. Once established this species is very drought tolerant.
