Characteristics:   Sulphur Buckwheat is a low growing, mat forming perennial. This is a large species which features several varieties.  Variety umbellatum features yellow flowers.  Flower stems may reach 12 to 18 inches.

Cultivation:  Grow in full sun.  This species, once established is very drought tolerant.
