Characteristics: Blue Flax is a perennial featuring clusters of pastel blue flowers on graceful wirey stems. Plants grow to two feet in height. Blue flax is another species that was collected during the Lewis and Clark expedition and the species bears their name.
Cultivation: Blue Flax prefers full sun, with a well drained soil with low to moderate moisture. Reseeds readily.
