Characteristics:  Tufted Evening Primrose is a low growing fragrant perennial with large white flowers.  Each flower opening in the afternoon and closing the next day with the heat of the day.  

Cultivation:  Tufted Evening Primrose prefers to grow in full sun with a dry to moderately moist well drained soil.   Do not however keep this plant constantly moist as it will promote rot.

Native Range:  Western United States.
