Characteristics: Firecracker Penstemon is a striking perennial member of the Snapdragon family with clusters of red or scarlet flowers. Plants grow to a height of 3 feet. Blooms in late spring to early summer. This species is loved by hummingbirds!
Cultivation: Firecracker Penstemon prefers full sun and is drought tolerant once established.
